Также "синими" остаются западные районы Dauphin-Swan River-Marquette, Brandon-Souris, Portage-Lisgar, юго-восточный район провинции Provencher.
Север провинции традиционно завоевали представители NDP.
Виннипег весь стал "красный" или как говорят в народе, "красный снаружи, белый внутри."
Выглядело так, что люди голосовали не за, а против, лишь бы убрать Харпера. Подобное в Канаде происходит крайне редко, если не впервые.
