Природа устроила апрельскую шуточку, завалив нас снегом. В Чистый четверг Страстной недели перед Пасхой принято заниматься уборкой в доме, печь куличи, красить яйца. Природа и украсила всё вокруг, растелив белые скатерти, приморозив всю пыль.

Православная Пасха неделей позже католической и протестанской. В Канаде празднуется Пасха в наступающие выходные, четыре нерабочих дня у госслужащих. Копирую режим работы в праздничные дни различных заведений:
Shopping Centres
Kildonan Place — Closed on Friday and Sunday, April 5
St. Vital Centre — Closed on Friday and Sunday, April 5
Polo Park — Closed on Friday and Sunday, April 5

Liquor Marts
Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5 — All Liquor Marts will be closed. Some locations will be operating on extended hours today and Saturday.

Manitoba Museum
Open daily until April 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Winnipeg Art Gallery
Closed Friday and Monday, but open Saturday and Sunday regular hours 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City of Winnipeg Civic Offices
Closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday).


Recycling/Garbage Collection
Recycling and garbage will be collected as normally scheduled on the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays for those with Friday and Monday as their collection day.

Friday, April 3 — 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 4 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, April 5 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, April 6 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (summer hours)

Winnipeg Transit
On Friday, April 3 (Good Friday), Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. On Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday), Winnipeg Transit will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

Leisure Centres
All Leisure Centres will be closed on Friday, April 3 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday). Regular hours of operation for all Leisure Centres are in effect for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5.

Swimming Pools
All City of Winnipeg indoor swimming pools will be closed on Friday, April 3 (Good Friday) with the exception of the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All pools will open at regularly-scheduled times on Sunday, April 5, but will all close at 4:00 p.m.

All indoor pools are closed on Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday) with the exception of Pan Am Pool and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex. Pan Am Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Libraries
Friday, April 3– Closed
Saturday, April 4 — Regular operating hours
Sunday, April 5 — Closed
Monday, April 6 — Millennium, Charleswood, Henderson, Louis Riel, Pembina Trail, West End and West Kildonan Libraries open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All other libraries will be closed.

Animal Services Agency
Friday, April 3 — Closed
Saturday, April 4 — Noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday, April 5 — Noon to 5 p.m.

Cemeteries
Cemetery grounds at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries will be open for visitation from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. over the Easter weekend, including Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6.
